Label V Announces Delay Of WayV’s Physical Album Release In Light Of Outfit Controversy

The release date of the physical album has been delayed.

The physical album of WayV‘s upcoming comeback will now be delayed due to the previous controversies that arose.

On June 9, Label V uploaded a post on the group’s official Twitter account, announcing that the physical album release will be delayed. This delay is due to the controversies that came to light earlier, regarding members Kun and Winwin‘s accessories in their respective teaser images.

Label V, however, reassured fans that the digital release would proceed as planned, and it is only the physical album that will be delayed in order for the prints to be reworked.

“[Notice] Announcement of Delay of the ‘Awaken The World’ physical album release

Hello, this is Label V. We thank all the fans for their interest in WayV’s first full-length album Awaken The World, and we’d like to announce some news regarding the physical album release schedule.

On June 9, WayV will release all tracks from the first full-length album Awaken The World and the music video for title track ‘(Turn Back Time)’.

But in regards to the physical album, after discovering issues regarding accessories on some of the outfits, the album cover will need correction, inevitably delaying its release date.

We apologize for the inadequacies in the album production process, and we will work harder going forward to make sure every small accessory on any outfit are checked thoroughly and in more detail. We will announce the new date of the physical album release, as soon as it is confirmed.

Once again, we ask for your understanding.

Thank you.
