Latest Update In Former NCT Taeil’s Sex Crime Trial Sparks Reactions

There has been an update in former NCT Taeil‘s upcoming trial.

The first trial date for Taeil, who was previously indicted on charges of sexually assaulting a woman, has been postponed to June.
According to Maeil Business Star on May 9, the first hearing — initially scheduled for May 12 at the 26th Criminal Division of the Seoul Central District Court — has been rescheduled to June 18. The case involves Taeil and two other defendants who are facing charges.
The victim reported Taeil to the police on June 13, 2024, and was booked shortly thereafter. The police began investigating and conducted their first summons for Taeil on August 28, 2024, shocking the public. Taeil was eventually forwarded to the prosecution without being detained. It is reported that Taeil was the only well-known figure among those involved.
