LE SSERAFIM’s Yunjin Brings Back A Viral Moment Of A Third Generation K-Pop Diva

LE SSERAFIM’s Yunjin has single-handedly managed to get K-Pop fans nostalgic with one of her recent iconic moments on stage.

As an idol, one of the strongest suits of Yunjin is her stage presence. She is often praised for her ability to emote the song she is performing through her animated expressions, which makes the performance even more enjoyable for audiences.

Recently, LE SSERAFIM kicked off their very first tour, FLAME RISES, with a two-day event at the Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Seoul. The girls put on an incredible set, which included their hit songs, including “FEARLESS,” “Good Parts,” “ANTIFRAGILE,” and “Impurities.”

While performing “Impurities,” Yunjin secured an iconic moment on camera when she winked at the audience with a playful expression. The crystals placed on her eyelid sparkled right at that moment, turning the moment into a magical one.

While fans were busy gushing about how perfectly timed the shot was, older K-Pop fans were immediately reminded of Chungha, one of the third-generation queens of K-Pop.

In 2018, when she was promoting her single “Roller Coaster,” Chungha performed the song live on MBC M’s Show Champion, which went viral for exactly the same reason as Yunjin’s. The singer’s eye makeup included glitter on her lower lids, and when she winked at the camera mid-performance, it sparkled at that exact moment.

Chungha later had another viral “glitter wink” moment in 2022 during her performance on SBS’s Inkigayo. Funnily, the song she was performing is titled “Sparkling.”

Yunjin’s viral wink has united all K-Pop fans on different platforms, where they are reminiscing about Chungha’s past performances while praising the LE SSERAFIM member’s stage presence as well.
