LeBron James Going To The Lakers Is Like BTS Going To YG Entertainment

Lebron signing with the Lakers is like BTS moving to YG Entertainment.

In a move that completely spun-out the NBA, LeBron James has signed a four-year contract with the Los Angeles Lakers – and it’s the equivalent of BTS moving to YG Entertainment from BigHit Entertainment!

The announcement, from Lebron’s representative company Klutch Sports Group, that he would be paid $154 million in the four-year contract, upset the entire industry and Cleveland fans are accusing Lebron of only wanting to play for a stacked team.

The move will boost the Lakers’s worth to $200 billion, a team that already has some major names, plenty of money to spend under the NBA salary cap and rising interest from other star players in the league, including Spurs’ Kawhi Leonard.

Netizens are assuming that Lebron James will receive privileges at Lakers as a member of a stacked team – similar to the privilege that fans believe K-Pop idols in the “Big Three” entertainment companies (YG Entertainment, SM Entertainment and JYP Entertainment) receive.

“Artists under the big three are privileged. This is undeniable. This gives them more opportunities and thus an advantage. Yes, it does. They have access to amazing resources such as expansive networks and partnerships with big corporations and organisations which help the trainees and artists gain a lot of experience in the entertainment industry.”

Should BTS leave BigHit Entertainment for YG Entertainment, BTS would be the Cleveland Cavaliers – small in comparison to the huge names in entertainment, and losing a major name in the business.

Although BTS admires YG Entertainment artists like WINNER, iKON, BIGBANG and BLACKPINK, they seem perfectly happy with their representation!
