Lee Sung Kyung Surprises “Doctor Slump” Viewers With Cameo

Viewers of JTBC‘s new K-Drama Doctor Slump were treated to a memorable cameo in the latest episode!
The show focuses on burnt-out doctors Yeo Jeong Woo and Nam Ha Neul, played by Park Hyung Sik and Park Shin Hye, respectively. They used to be former rivals in school.
Once rivals in school, two brilliant doctors reunite by chance – each facing life’s worst slump and unexpectedly finding solace in each other.

In Episode 6, Lee Sung Kyung (also romanized as Lee Sung Kyoung) appeared in a cameo role as Yeo Jeong Woo and Nam Ha Neul’s former high school classmate, Han Wo Ri.
Han Wo Ri runs into Yeo Jeong Woo and Nam Ha Neul fourteen years later. As they catch up, she reveals that she is more than just Jung Woo’s former classmate. She had feelings for him then and believed them to be reciprocated, much to his shock.
Han Wo Ri was so excited to see him again, indicating feelings might still linger on her end. Ha Neul was not thrilled, clearly jealous over Wo Ri.
On the other hand, K-Drama fans were excited to see Lee Sung Kyung, even if it was just a cameo!
Seeing Park Hyung Sik, Lee Sung Kung, and Park Shin Hye on screen together felt like a blast from the past, reminding viewers of the golden age of K-Dramas.
