Lee Young Ji Exposes BTS Jin’s True Personality On “My Alcohol Diary,” And He Has The Most Unexpected Take On It

He got real about the consequences of his defining trait.

BTS‘s Jin made his highly anticipated guest appearance on Lee Young Ji‘s My Alcohol Diary, and it has delivered some of the most iconic Jin moments. Among them was how Lee Young Ji exposed his true (wholesome) personality—and Jin’s unexpectedly unexpected honest take on it.

Jin’s episode, which was the final episode in the popular series, proved to be equal parts chaotic and touching. He spilled on everything from HYBE‘s policies on shooting content to the reason why people don’t want to be friends with him. It was easy to see his true character shining through!

Yet, Lee Young Ji also made a note of what kind of person he comes across as. She said, “The more I searched about you, the more I felt that you are a sincere person.”

Jin questioned her meaning at first, so she explained that he really seems like a person with sincerity—something that Jin hilariously agreed with, saying, “That’s right.” She asked, “Do you need more explanation?”

Showing off his unique wit, Jin replied, “No need. You can even see it from how I look.”

But that wasn’t what Lee Young Ji had in mind. She said that, regardless of his looks, he is a very sincere person who always puts everything into his work.

Once again, Jin agreed. But he also got unexpectedly real about it. He complained, “That’s right. Because of this work, my social relationships became a disaster!”

Lee Young Ji empathized with him, claiming that she has even less than five friends and that, in fact, she is notorious for never replying to messages.

Then, reminding everyone of his shaky legs, Jin hilariously told her to stop standing up all the time, wrapping up the subject in yet another unexpected way.

As Lee Young Ji pointed out on her show, Jin truly is one of the most sincere and hardworking people. But he also reminded everyone he would never hesitate to get real about things, even if it meant discussing the consequences of his good traits and all his hard work!
