Lee Young Ji Loses Thousands Of Followers After Making Graphic Post
Rapper Lee Young Ji recently lost thousands of followers on Instagram in the aftermath of a graphic post.

On July 29, Young Ji posted a hilarious selfie on her Instagram profile using a filter that gave her a bald head and a beard. In a follow-up story, she posted a humorous exchange with a fan, who had responded to her previous post, saying, “unfollowed.” In the caption of this second story, the rapper responded to the fan, saying, “Don’t go. 4,000 people already unfollowed me after I uploaded the nail photo.”

The “nail photo” referred to a previous post by the rapper, in which she showed the severe injury on her two fingernails. In the picture, her nails appeared to be torn from the nailbed. In the caption, she warned people of the graphic content and took extra precautions in censoring the blood.
Many asked if my finger were hurt. My ring and pinky fingers nail were raised. Sorry sorry. I censored the blood#YOUNGJI_IG pic.twitter.com/Xsw7wtwVSR

The photo was originally posted on July 22, KST, and the injury reported occurred during the rehearsals of her upcoming KCON performance. In some follow-up stories, she had apologized to fans who were shocked by the graphic injury and humorously tried to pacify them, saying they should think of the nails as castanets.
Those who shocked, sorry sorry. Dont think it as nails. Think it as castanets. It’s the same as it open and closed. #YOUNGJI_IG pic.twitter.com/tUAMCrRgwV

Despite her attempt to move on from the incident by joking around, fans were concerned for her well-being and flooded her inbox with messages. In response, Young Ji had posted another story, reassuring them that she was getting the injury treated.

However, she also admitted to feeling scared about going to the hospital. She concluded her post with her signature dry humor, saying, “Please pray for my soul. I won’t die tomorrow, right?… If I do, I will donate all my wealth to society.”
Lee’s habit of dealing with pain through humor has once again shown why she is the true representative of Gen Z.
