2AM’s Jo Kwon has touched hearts after candidly revealing his family’s difficult health struggles.
In a recent YouTube video, he opened up about the personal hardships he faced behind the scenes. Jo Kwon shared that while he was serving in the military, his mother was diagnosed with malignant melanoma, a form of skin cancer, and ultimately had to undergo an amputation.
He also revealed that his father underwent four surgeries last year due to colorectal cancer. As an only child, Jo Kwon explained that he had to frequently travel back and forth to support his family, which led to a temporary halt in his activities.
The idol also spoke honestly about his own health. He shared that he suffers from low blood pressure and low blood sugar, sometimes experiencing cold sweats and sudden fainting. He recalled collapsing multiple times, even during his time on broadcast programs, raising concern among viewers.
