The idol wrote, “From now on, my Instagram and Threads will be managed by the office. Stay healthy, everyone. I look forward to meeting you all offline someday.”

This news follows numerous controversies that were sparked by Kim’s unrestrained remarks on social media. In February this year, he landed himself in hot water after making a post that seemed to endorse the legalization of prostitution. He also drew fierce criticism for publicly supporting MC Dingdong, who was accused of assaulting a female streamer for mentioning his past drunk driving record. He later deleted the post amid growing backlash and apologized to the public.

However, during Shinhwa’s 28th debut anniversary celebration, he made comments implying that he would continue being “noisy” on social media. In a more recent instance, Kim sparked a heated backlash after expressing his support for entertainer Yootong, who has reportedly been married and divorced eight times. Kim was also exposed by his manager recently, sparking further criticism over his behavior.
