Recently, YouTube channel TingTingTingTing uploaded a new video featuring the star, DinDin, Lee Sun Min, and Um Ji Yoon as they discussed dating concerns, ghosting, and painful breakups. During the conversation, DinDin brought up Leo’s past divorce, saying that Leo had experienced the “biggest breakup story” among the group.

Leo then shared that, for him, silence was the most painful form of separation.

For me, I think silence is the biggest wound. Ghosting.

When Lee Sun Min said she had once experienced a ghost breakup, Leo surprised everyone with his own confession, commenting, “I was ghost-divorced.”

He went on to explain that he and his wife had been living together without any major issues when she told him she wanted to study abroad. Leo supported the decision and sent her overseas. But after she left, communication suddenly stopped.

We were doing OK. But then she said she wanted to study abroad, so I sent her. I thought, ‘Why isn’t she contacting me as soon as she got there?’ But there was no reason for her to run away.

According to Leo, the day he sent her off to study abroad became the final time he saw her as his wife. The two would not meet again until five years later— in a Korean court. When asked whether they talked during the court reunion, Leo said there was no emotional confrontation or explanation.

We really just silently signed the papers.

Even now, Leo said he still does not know why the relationship ended the way it did. When the others asked why he never questioned her, Leo admitted that he did not want to know. He added that, from his perspective, there had not been a major rupture in the relationship, making the silence even harder to process.

There wasn’t a major crack in the relationship. That’s why silence is the scariest thing.

His confession left the cast stunned, with the others sympathizing over how painful and unresolved the experience must have been.
