Lesbian Dating Show Participant Makes Damning Accusation Against Co-Contestant
Wavve‘s ongoing lesbian dating show, TogetHer, has been facing consecutive controversies related to the contestants’ personal lives. The latest scandal surrounding the show involves two participants, Hangyul and Riwon.

Earlier, Riwon came under heavy scrutiny after netizens suspected that she used to work as an adult streamer before appearing on the show. As the controversy exploded, Riwon admitted that it was the truth, but affirmed that she was attracted to women, despite dating a man in the past.
However, the scandal took an unexpected turn when another TogetHer contestant, Hangyul, made a lengthy post on her social media account accusing Riwon of making inappropriate suggestions to her after filming the show.

In her post, Hangyul clarified that she and Riwon had no romantic association after filming the show, but had kept in touch. She claimed that Riwon had invited her on an overseas trip, and she was under the impression that it was casual. But later, she went into more detail and talked about a “meal date.”
The term “meal date” is used in the broadcast industry to imply a date with a sponsor. Hangyul accused Riwon of making such offers to other participants as well. In her post, she also criticized Riwon for using her sexual orientation to promote her profession as a broadcasting jockey.
These accusations further fueled netizens’ criticism of Riwon, but soon, she refuted the claims with a scathing response. Riwon took to her social media channel and wrote that after her past came to light, some of the participants had started gathering information about her, and one of them had spread rumors about her being sponsored.
She continued, implying that Hangyul was hesitant to associate with someone “dirty” like her, since she was young and wanted to work in the music industry. “Why would I drag that kid into the mud like that?” she stated, denying that she ever suggested a “meal date.”
Riwon followed up her response with a bunch of screenshots of her conversation with Hangyul, where she tried to explain her position to her, clarifying that she never meant to set her up with a sponsor.
So, Riwon just posted some screenshots.
It seems that Riwon is trying to clarify or apologize while the other person, I’m guessing Hangyeol is not happy about this whole situation of Riwon having been a webcam girl. #ToGetHer pic.twitter.com/Pm0uemZyFM— Daniii (@ttalguilover) May 1, 2025
Riwon later posted on social media, reiterating that Hangyul’s accusations against her were false. “Once this show ends, I will disappear from Korean media for good,” she wrote, expressing her frustration.
