Male Idol Exposes Luxury Cosmetic Products, Pokes Fun At BIGBANG Daesung’s 2.4 Million KRW Moisturizer

Singer Jay Park has gone viral after revealing the pocket-friendly secret to his “honey skin.”

Recently, the 38-year-old idol posted a laid-back video on his YouTube channel capturing his home life with his parents. Unlike his eccentric, energetic on-stage persona, viewers got a glimpse of Park’s more relaxed side in a candid setting.

During the video, Jay Park started talking about cosmetic products, remarking, “Probably the ingredients or whatever are all pretty similar, whether it is 50,000 won or 300,000 won.”

When the production team asked how much he spent on his moisturizer, Jay Park immediately called his mother, eliciting laughter. While his mother appeared on camera and started checking the product, the production team mentioned BIGBANG‘s Daesung and said the La Mer cream he uses costs around ₩2.40 million KRW (about $1,640 USD). Jay Park retorted, “Does Daesung live in a penthouse?” causing everyone to burst out laughing.

Park’s mother finally revealed that the cream he used cost ₩33,900 KRW (about $23.20 USD), sending the production crew into fits of laughter.

Park again joked, saying his new goal in life was to use a 3 million won moisturizer.
