MAMAMOO’s Hwasa Wins First Place On SBS “Inkigayo”
Singer and MAMAMOO member Hwasa topped the charts again on SBS’s Inkigayo following her win on MBC‘s Show! Music Core.
On the afternoon of the 7th, Hwasa took first place on SBS’s Inkigayo with her song “Good Goodbye.” This marked her second music show victory without any broadcast appearances, following her win on Show! Music Core on the 6th, making her a double crown winner.
Hwasa is currently enjoying phenomenal popularity with “Good Goodbye.” The music video, featuring actor Park Jung Min, showcased their unique chemistry, which they continued to highlight with a special congratulatory stage at the 46th Blue Dragon Film Awards.
This synergy is reflected in “Good Goodbye” topping six major domestic online music charts and achieving the year’s first “Perfect All-Kill (PAK)” by a solo female artist.
Her success doesn’t stop domestically. Hwasa debuted at number 43 on the Billboard Global 200 chart in the U.S., climbed to number 2 on the Billboard World Digital Song Sales chart, and claimed the top spot on Billboard Korea’s newly launched Billboard Korea Hot 100.
Additionally, on the U.S. iTunes Song Chart, the track ranked first in Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, and Kyrgyzstan; second in Hong Kong and Indonesia; third in Thailand and Vietnam; 14th in France; and 27th in the United States—demonstrating Hwasa’s growing global influence once again.
