A married idol revealed the special training his wife put him through on web variety show ZIP DAESUNG, hosted by BIGBANG‘s Daesung.
On the 12th, Kangnam, formerly of M.I.B., appeared in a video on ZIP DAESUNG. Kangnam married former Olympic speed skater Lee Sang Hwa in 2019.
When Daesung expressed his desire to get married, Kangnam jokingly said, “Do you have to?” and then advised, “If you marry an athlete, you have to be prepared for a lot.” Kangnam showed moist eyes as he said, “It’s really tough.”
He recalled an episode, saying, “I was in a car going through Wangsimni when suddenly she told me to get out—right in front of the Han River. When I got out, she said I had to run 15 kilometers to get home.” He added, “She said to run, to lose weight. She even took my phone, worried I might take a taxi halfway.”
Daesung looked shocked, and Kangnam jokingly warned, “Can you live like this? This is married life,” prompting laughter.
