"The Marvels" Leaks New Potential Details About Park Seo Joon's Character

Following his short appearance in The Marvels’ most recent trailer, which has taken over the internet, fans want to know more about Park Seo Joon‘s character. Though nothing has been confirmed yet, other than his stunning second-long cameo, multiple leaks have some shared some possible details about Park’s role in the movie.

For any who may not know, The Marvels is one of the most anticipated upcoming superhero movies part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The movie will feature popular and loved characters including Carol Danvers (Captain Marvel), Monica Rambeau, and Kamala Khan (Ms. Marvel). Following multiple rumors about his appearance in the movie, Park Seo Joon was confirmed as a part of the cast list back in July 2021, when IMDb listed him next to stars like Brie Larson and Teyonah Parris.

As often happens with Marvel movies, numerous leaks about the plot of the film have come out since its confirmation, many of which mentioned Park’s character to be a prince of a musical planet. Daniel Richtman, a popular Twitter influencer, claimed that Park would be playing Prince Yan, the leader of a musical planet in which everyone can only communicate with each other through singing.

Follow-up leaks also alleged that Prince Yan would actually be Captain Marvel’s husband. This news excited netizens, who were looking forward to possibly seeing a romance portrayed by Park Seo Joon and Brie Larson. However, recent leakers have claimed that even though Prince Yan and Captain Marvel are married, their relationship is nothing more than platonic. In fact, the leak even suggested the marriage happened “accidentally” and the two characters have mutual respect for each other.

Other leaks have also alleged that the prince’s main “powers” include singing and dancing, with Park’s character showcasing how he can lead his troops through singing, as well as his sword-dancing abilities. One main point of focus in the leaks also seems to be the fact that Prince Yan will create new suits for the three main superheroes of the movie, in an attempt to aid them in their fight against the villain.
