MBC Comments On Allegations Of Park Na Rae Abusing Production Team Staff
Amid revelations from former managers accusing comedian Park Na Rae of rude behavior towards producers and writers, MBC has responded.
The former managers of the TV star, who have been accusing her of various wrongdoings, disclosed on JTBC’s Scandal Supervisor aired on the 10th their experiences of Park Na Rae’s abusive behavior. They claimed that during the filming of a new variety show last month, Park Na Rae unexpectedly demanded props not planned in advance, and when they couldn’t find them at her home, she verbally abused them harshly in front of hair and makeup staff, saying things like, “If you’re going to do the job poorly, why do it?” and “I’m going to give you a serious talking-to.” In fact, Park Na Rae herself was unable to locate the props.
The former managers also alleged that Park Na Rae questioned the PD and writers on set, asking, “Did you make our managers’ lives difficult?” They said, “It seemed like she was blaming others instead of reflecting on her own behavior.”
On the 11th, an MBC official cautiously told OSEN regarding the former managers’ assertion that Park Na Rae blamed PDs and writers of a new program, “We cannot verify the information. We ask for your understanding.”
