Mnet “M! Countdown” PDs Tests Positive For Covid-19, This Week’s Broadcast To Be Cancelled
Mnet’s M! Countdown‘s PD has been confirmed to have tested positive for Covid-19, forcing this week’s broadcast to be cancelled.
According to exclusive reports from Tenasia and Star News, two producers on M! Countdown have tested positive for Covid-19. Mnet has since confirmed the diagnosis in their statement.
Two members of the M! Countdown production team have tested positive for Covid-19 on August 16.
The rest of our staff are awaiting their test results or have already tested negative.
We have proactively informed the artists who appeared on the show last Thursday and encouraged them to get PCR tests.

Due to the positive diagnosis, it has forced this week’s episode to be cancelled, with Mnet airing a highlight episode instead. Mnet also stated that they will cooperate with health authorities in their investigation to see if there are any close contacts.
