MONSTA X’s Minhyuk Caught With A Photo Of aespa’s Karina Next To His Bed
MONSTA X’s Minhyuk is currently serving the military. While he is currently on hiatus from idol activities to serve the nation, he still remains a hot topic online. On March 31, 2024, photos of him in the military went viral on X (formerly Twitter). In the photo, he can be seen in his military living quarters tending to his belongings.
Each military man gets their own shelf next to their bed. Minhyuk’s has his full name printed out and stuck on the shelf as a label. The area is shared between a squadrant, resulting in the area being less private than what is ideal.
What caught the eye of fans was a particular photo on his shelf. While he also had a photo of his squad and other printed paraphernalia pasted on the shelf, there was also a photo of a girl group member on it.
Fans quickly identified this as aespa’s Karina. The photo was from a shoot she did for her group’s promotions.
Military men often keep photos of girl group members or singers amongst their living quarters to keep their spirits up. In the past, girl group members used to tour military bases, performing to encourage the army men. Even today, it is common culture for army men to gather in the living lounges to watch girl groups on music shows. Looks like male idols aren’t any different!
