K-Pop Idol’s Husband Heartbroken After Learning Who Was Behind Malicious Comments

KOYOTE’s Shinji and her husband MoonOne once again opened up about the painful rumors and malicious comments that surrounded their relationship, including the shocking discovery that some of the commenters were people he knew.

In the premiering episode of MBN’s Someone Else’s Precious Family, Shinji and MoonOne appeared together as a couple and shared behind-the-scenes stories about their marriage.

During the broadcast, MoonOne looked back on the difficult period that followed reports of his relationship with Shinji. At the time, news of the two did not first break as dating rumors but as marriage rumors, drawing sudden attention to MoonOne. Soon after, various rumors about him began spreading online.

MoonOne admitted that the situation deeply affected him, especially because the attacks did not stop with him. “It would have been fine if they only cursed at me,” he said.

But they were cursing not only me, but also Shinji and Shinji’s family, so it hurt so much. After that incident, I couldn’t trust people anymore.

He then revealed an even more shocking detail: some of the people behind the rumors and malicious comments were allegedly people he personally knew.

When I looked into it, I found out that some of the people spreading rumors and leaving malicious comments were people I knew. I thought there was no one I could trust. When I asked what I had done wrong, they just said they were sorry.

Shinji, who watched him struggle at the time, also recalled how badly the comments affected him. “When I would wake up in the middle of the night and look at MoonOne, only his face would be lit up,” she said.

When I checked what he was doing, he was reading all those comments on his phone. It was his first time going through something like that. He said he was okay, but there was no way he could be okay.

If the things being said out there were true, evidence would keep coming out, and there would be tips coming in. So we decided to keep waiting. But nothing came out. Yet even now, many people still blindly hate him.

Despite the backlash, Shinji said she chose to trust MoonOne because of their relationship and the honesty he had shown her.

We have been together for three years. That is quite a long time, isn’t it? A lot of people don’t know that. MoonOne told me ahead of time that he was divorced and that he had a child. I simply had the choice.
