Multiple Idols Leave The “2025 MAMA Awards” In Wheelchairs After Suffering On-Stage Injuries

The 2025 MAMA Awards were packed with memorable stages and emotional moments, but the event also raised serious concerns after two idols sustained significant injuries over the two-day ceremony.

Both incidents happened backstage or mid-performance — and despite the pain, each artist pushed through their set before later being seen in wheelchairs.

 

On the first night, idle performed their latest release, “Good Thing.”

It was later revealed that Minnie had hurt herself during rehearsal while stepping down from a prop sofa. According to what Miyeon shared at a fan event, the accident left Minnie with a strained foot. Despite the injury, she still took the stage as planned.

During the broadcast, fans noticed Minnie limping in several shots, hinting that the situation was more difficult than initially believed.

After the ceremony, she was seen at the airport using a wheelchair, confirming that the injury had made walking difficult.

The second night brought another worrying moment — this time involving Stray Kids’ Lee Know. Fans at the venue shared that he twisted his ankle while rushing down a set of stairs between segments. Even so, Lee Know pushed ahead with the group’s performance.

When Stray Kids later accepted their “Album of the Year” Daesang, members were seen supporting him as he struggled to put weight on his foot.

Like Minnie, Lee Know also appeared in a wheelchair at the airport afterward. He later explained that the wheelchair was simply a precaution due to the long distances required inside the terminal, hoping to reassure fans who feared the worst.

Though both artists showed professionalism by completing their schedules, the incidents have sparked widespread concern.
