Actor Nam Joo Hyuk will soon be fulfilling his duty to the nation. On January 31, 2023, his company Management SOOP confirmed the news to the press.
According to a statement given to News1, he was accepted into the police unit of the army. He plans to enlist with the police squad on March 20, 2023.
Nam Joo Hyuk had previously gone for an interview as part of the application process for the police squad. The process is more stringent than regular army enlistment for regular troops due to its smaller size. Police squadrons are also stationed not at the base but in the various cities. He will be transferred to his position after the basic training camp.
His last work before enlistment, Vigilante, will soon be released on Disney+.
