Nana Directly Confronts Robber In The Courtroom, Triggers Massive Reactions

On April 21, singer and actress Nana appeared at the 1st Criminal Division of the Namyangju Branch of the Uijeongbu District Court for the trial of “A”, a man in his 30s who was arrested and indicted on charges of robbery and assault.

Nana attended the trial as a witness and confronted “A” as soon as she entered the courtroom.

However, the judge instructed her to take a seat as they tried to calm her down.

We understand how you are feeling, but the trial cannot proceed smoothly while you are agitated.

To this, Nana responded, “It is impossible not to get agitated.”

In regard to the situation at the time, she stated, “I heard my mother’s cries and the man’s breathing. I sensed danger, so I went out cautiously, and when I witnessed the scene, I was so shocked that my only thought was to quickly separate my mother from that man.”

She continued, “I had no idea that there would be a knife, so I only thought to get rid of it. Seeing the robber’s behavior, I felt he could do anything to my mother since he had the knife, so I defended myself instinctively.”

She also stated that he was bleeding from the neck caused by the knife that she had, and he asked her to spare him, and that he was sorry.

I thought I needed to calm him down and wanted to hear his story. After he spoke, I felt that bringing a knife was dangerous in itself, so I mouthed to my mother to call the police.
