NCT’s Chenle Says A Sweet Goodbye To His “Akdong Seoul” Family After His Last Live Broadcast
NCT‘s Chenle just concluded his final live broadcast as the DJ of “Akdong Seoul” and it was an emotional moment for everyone!
Chenle first started on “Akdong Seoul” in October 2020, and has been spending time talking with fans almost every day since! It’s been over 300 days since “Le-D’s” first broadcast and each one has been a source of comfort and happiness for fans.
While Chenle has pre-recorded two more broadcasts, September 10 marked his final live show. During the broadcast, the staff and his fellow DJs gifted Chenle a certificate for his time on “Akdong Seoul.”
They also gave him an adorable cake that said, “Le-D, you’ve worked hard!”
After the show, Chenle posted on Weibo to share his thanks and his feelings with fans.
Today is my last day. I’d like to thank the PD noona, Chao Li noona, and all of the guests for treating me so well. It’s been almost a year, and seriously I felt happy and relaxed every time I came here. I hope we can do ‘Akdong Seoul’ again in the future.

He also commented below his own post to add a few more heartfelt thoughts!
I really like this ‘Akdong Seoul’ family. Everyone’s so kind; I feel so happy to have been able to work with them. I hope we can make a comeback with the same team in the future.

Chenle announced that WayV‘s Kun will be the next host of “Akdong Seoul!” While fans will certainly miss hearing Chenle’s hilarious stories and sweet words of wisdom, we look forward to being able to meet Kun through the radio show too. Also, it’s common for the other members of NCT to visit each other on the show, so this certainly won’t be the last we’ll see of Chenle on “Akdong Seoul!”
