On February 1, NCT’s Doyoung held a live broadcast to celebrate with fans. In addition to his birthday celebrations, he also talked about the group’s recent concert and other updates.
He started the broadcast by sharing that he spent a quiet birthday, eating lunch with his parents and taking a much needed nap.
During the live, he also expressed slight frustration as fans continued to worry every time he started to try and talk about something serious.

Czennies, every time I try to have a serious talk, everyone jumps to conclusions, thinking I’m talking about the military. Everyone is like, ‘OMG, Doyoung! Are you ready because I’m not!’ Everyone is going crazy. Don’t worry. It’s not yet! And of course, I will let everyone know when the time comes!

Being born in 1996, it has been known publicly that he would be enlisting in the military sometime this year. He has never openly talked about enlisting, making it his first time mentioning it during the broadcast.
He also let fans know that he would try and prepare as many things as possible before he leaves.
