Fans Call For SM Entertainment To Promote NCT’s Taeyong More Fairly
Fans have been calling for the fair treatment of NCT‘s Taeyong. According to fans, the company has not been properly promoting Taeyong’s individual activities effectively. Fans begun to use social media to call out SM Entertainment and request action.
According to fans, one of his earliest individual activities, a regular cast appearance on Food Diary, was not promoted via the official accounts. Official social media accounts for NCT include @NCTsmtown, @NCTsmtown_127 and @NCT_OFFICIAL_JP.

Fans also uncovered the fact that one of his solo shoots for Harper’s Bazaar Japan back in October 2019, was not promoted as well. Conversely, the NCT social media accounts usually retweet magazine appearances for other members. Fans are now encouraging other NCTzens to leave a comment on Harper’s Bazaar’s post for him.

Fans were also disappointed to find out that the official accounts never promoted Taeyong’s collaborations with other artists, including his OST for Hotel Del Luna, “Love Del Luna” with Punch. His collaboration with Marteen, “Mood”, was also not promoted.

Taeyong’s other video appearances such as The Silhouette Dancer with hello82 and on SKT‘s NUGUCeleb also went unpromoted.
Fans are requesting for the company to take action and account for the lack of promotion, as well as to do a better job in the future. SM Entertainment has not responded yet.
