Now, HYBE America CEO Scooter Braun and HYBE founder and chairman Bang Si Hyuk (also known as Bang PD or Hitman Bang) is the music industry’s latest unlikely-but-powerful duo.
On February 8 (KST), Scooter Braun shared videos and images from a recent fishing trip with none other than Bang Si Hyuk — which of course, reminded us of BTS‘s Jin.
It was an exciting time not just due to the unlikely group, but also because the party was crashed by an uninvited guest of a sea lion.
The excitement didn’t end there, of course. They also successfully caught a huge fish that required three sets of hands to be lifted.
Now, the excitement has continued for different reasons.

Not to mention this isn’t the first time that Scooter Braun and Bang Si Hyuk displayed their friendship publicly. Previously, Braun shared some mirror selfies with Bang Si Hyuk after announcing that HYBE had acquired Braun-founded company, Ithaca Holdings.

Additionally, when Bang Si Hyuk created his own Instagram recently, his first post was a photo of himself with Scooter Braun. He captioned it, “With my bro @scooterbraun #LA.”
A lot of netizens also had mixed feelings about this new friendship. Scooter Braun has a reputation beyond just “discovering Justin Bieber.”
Yet, considering HYBE acquired Ithaca Holdings, the relationship isn’t all that shocking. In the past, Braun has even spoken about how they work together.
