Netizens Joke That aespa Took A “Dig” At HYBE’s Bang Si Hyuk In “Supernova”

Netizens “joke” that aespa’s track “Supernova” mentioned HYBE founder Bang Si Hyuk amidst the company’s feud with ADOR.
Aespa recently released their latest album and the video for the title track “Supernova.”
Almost two weeks after the release, a specific line in the song is gaining attention when Karina says, “Ah Body Bang.”
While the song has been out for a while, a post was shared on Instiz with the title, “Are the lyrics of ‘BODY BANG’ really targeting Bang Si-hyuk?” pointing out that it could mean, “Is it saying, ‘Look at Bang Si Hyuk’s body?” referring to HYBE CEO Bang Si Hyuk.
The link was probably made after ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin shared damning messages of Bang Si Hyuk saying to “crush aespa.”
Of course, netizens knew it wasn’t serious as the song was probably produced and created months before any of the drama happened. Yet, it didn’t stop netizens from LOL’ing at the link, especially when many pointed out they wouldn’t be able to hear the iconic line now without thinking of Bang Si Hyuk.
