NCT Mark’s Bodyguard Hit With Fierce Backlash During Fan Sign Event
Recently, a fan sign video went viral after a special interaction between the artist and a fan.
On November 28, NCT DREAM held an offline fan sign event for their “Beat it Up” promotions.
In particular, a video clip of Mark and a fan dancing to the song garnered much attention online.

However, many felt that the security guard’s actions ruined the special moment.
While they tried to fist bump each other after the dance, the guard immediately put his hands between them to avoid any physical contact.
Fans felt that they were going overboard, as it was just a light touch to honor each other’s dance.

I was watching this in a good mood, but as soon as I saw the guard immediately reach out to block even the slightest touch, it ruined the entire interaction for me.

Why are the guards blocking him when the artists themselves are ok with it? Will they be cut by a knife if they touch a fan? Or is this how SM trained the guards? Then they should post a notice beforehand to the artists as well, stating that there will be no physical contact. Why can’t they even do a little fistbump after paying thousands to be there? Just stop blocking them!
