At the end of 2023, it was announced that the members of BLACKPINK had renewed their contracts with YG Entertainment as a group but not individually. It was then revealed that Jennie had created her own agency called ODDATELIER and would be conducting her solo activities under her new company.

Although 2024 has only just started, many can’t stop praising Jennie for how booked she is. Within the first few days of the year, new photos of Jennie for Hera and Coco Chanel were released.

After the announcement that Jennie would be starring in the new show Apartment 404, the trailer was released on January 2 and netizens couldn’t wait to see Jennie flex on a variety show for the first time in what seemed like forever.

If that wasn’t enough, on the same day that the trailer came out, it was announced that Jennie was going to be the first guest on Lee Hyori’s new show, Red Carpet.

Not long after the announcement was made, Jennie was spotted entering the KBS building, which signals her first appearance on a KBS show, not including music shows.

After the news of being on Lee Hyori’s Red Carpet was announced, amidst Jennie’s other activities, the internet was flooded with comments about how YG Entertainment was holding the idol back.

Even though her company was only announced recently, many assume she has been doing solo activities under the company for a while and praised how active she is with promotions.

Many fans can’t hide their excitement at seeing Jennie being able to flourish outside just the worlds of music and modeling.
