Korean American rapper Jessi just made her Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in an unexpectant way!
Marvel Studios and Disney+‘s latest series is She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, created by Jessica Gao and starring Tatiana Maslany (Orphan Black) as Jennifer Walters (She-Hulk).
Jennifer Walters navigates the complicated life of a single, 30-something attorney who also happens to be a green 6-foot-7-inch superpowered Hulk.
In the mid-credits for Episode 3, viewers were shocked by a cameo from American rapper Megan Thee Stallion. She appeared as herself and twerked alongside She-Hulk.

Now, in Episode 4, there’s a cameo from another superstar woman rapper, and it’s none other than Jessi!
This time, viewers were shocked yet again, but not by what they saw on screen. Instead, Jessi’s voice could be heard rapping her hit song “ZOOM.”
In one scene, Jennifer sets up her She-Hulk dating profile for a dating application. “ZOOM” perfectly sets the scene as she looks at men’s profiles and chooses to swipe left or right.

Viewers were not expecting to hear one of Jessi’s songs while watching a Marvel series. Still, many were excited for the inclusion and agreed it was an excellent song choice for She-Hulk.
She-Hulk playing Zoom by Jessi is a top tier music choice! #SheHulk

This wouldn’t be the first time that K-Pop has made its way into the Marvel Cinematic Universe…
In Black Panther, PSY and Snoop Dogg‘s “Hangover” can be heard during the scene in which T’Challa goes to a casino in Busan, South Korea.
BTS‘s Jimin and V‘s duet “Friends” appeared in the airplane scene in Eternals.
The Marvel Cinematic Universe is becomingly increasingly diverse as even beloved K-Drama actor Park Seo Joon has joined the cast of Captain Marvel. Read more below.
