What Netizens Think Might Follow The Controversial “Under-Boob” Trend: The “See-Through” Trend
Last year, a new trend reached the K-Pop world that had a lot of netizens shaking their heads: The “under-boob” trend.
There were several female idols that flaunted their gorgeous figures with the risqué look, and though it definitely drew mixed reactions, they also received a lot of praise for their bold style!
Now, people are wondering if an even more daring trend could start making an appearance in K-Pop, due to a recent Instagram post made by model Kendall Jenner.
Kendall was certainly on top of the under-boob look, and was seen with the skin-baring style on multiple occasions throughout 2022 and even before.
She and her family are highly influential when it comes to setting new fashion trends in the entertainment industry, even reaching the K-Pop world with their worldwide fame. So it’s not too surprising that some Korean netizens think that a highly risqué style that Kendall is trying might just be seen on some bold female K-Pop idols!
In the Instagram post, shared on January 14, Kendall is seen in a series of photos wearing a sheer black dress while lounging on a bed. The dress leaves little to the imagination, and it’s evident that she’s not wearing a bra underneath!
The model included several pictures in different poses, looking comfortable and confident in the daring and sexy outfit.

Some of the photos made their way onto an online Korean forum, where the author shared that this “see-through” trend is apparently going to be all the rage after the “under-boob” style peters out.
Many commenters, however, don’t seem too convinced. Korean culture is still much more conservative than it is in America, where the “Free the Nipple” campaign has been picking up speed for several years now. In fact, in just the last couple of days, social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram have been getting increasing pressure to abolish their ban of photos of bare breasts on the apps. Numerous celebrities besides Kendall Jenner have also proudly worn sheer outfits in recent times.
