NJZ (NewJeans) Danielle’s Departure From ADOR Triggers Massive Reactions
What are your thoughts?
Recently, ADOR released an official statement confirming the contract termination of NJZ’s (NewJeans) Danielle.

ADOR determined that it would be difficult to continue working with her and notified her of the termination of her exclusive contract.
They also added that they have held “one family member of Danielle and CEO Min Hee Jin, who are significantly responsible for causing this dispute, legally accountable.”
K-Netizens were surprised at ADOR’s decision and garnered massive reactions online.

- “It’s going to be funny if they go ahead as a four-member group.”
- “So they’re actually accepting them back…”
- “Danielle’s family member must’ve been really adamant… usually family members try to persuade them.”
- “I guess Danielle thinks it’s ok if she stops being an idol.”
- “It’s funny to think of the people who criticized Hanni…they probably never thought she would return.”
- “It’s so surprising that they are accepting Hanni and Minji back. I hope Hanni apologizes to ILLIT, Kim Jooyoung, and LE SSERAFIM.”
- “I guess there was a problem…but they indeed need to take legal responsibility. Think of all the damage that came from the group halting activities.”
- “Are they really going to be something, though, even if they return?”
- “Then I guess it’s only going to be Hanni singing when they return. Danielle was the only one who maintained her visuals…if she leaves, the remaining members’ image is a bit ambiguous.”
- “It’s so freaking hilarious how Hanni went all out at the National Assembly, only to return to ADOR.”
- “They probably discussed for at least a month, but to see that they still haven’t come to terms, then they should let them go. I guess they had some unreasonable demands? But seeing how four of them returned, you can see where the unreasonable demands were made.”
- “I wonder what Danielle’s family member did for ADOR to take legal action.”
Meanwhile, Hanni has decided to return to ADOR while Minji is still in discussion with the agency.
