Industry Insider Drops Bombshell Revelation About NJZ (NewJeans) Return To ADOR
According to music industry insiders on November 13, the four NJZ (NewJeans) members who were staying in Korea and their guardians met with ADOR CEO Lee Do Kyung on November 11. One member was abroad and unable to attend. It is said that, during this meeting, they conveyed the conditions and environment they wanted in order for a return to the agency to take place.
A day later, on the afternoon of November 12, the return of members Haerin and Hyein was announced through ADOR, and afterward, Minji, Hanni, and Danielle also publicly stated their intention to return.
If an appeal is not filed by midnight on November 14, the first-trial ruling, which states that the exclusive contracts are valid, will be finalized in ADOR’s lawsuit requesting confirmation of contract validity against the five members of NJZ.
Since ADOR has made the return of Haerin and Hyein official and the remaining three members have expressed their willingness to come back, it is highly likely the five members will not submit an appeal.
ADOR previously stated that Haerin and Hyein “made the decision to respect the court’s ruling and comply with the exclusive contract after sufficient discussions with ADOR.” It is said that Hyein’s father contributed significantly during that process. It was previously reported in Korean media that the two members had contacted ADOR in advance and engaged in in-depth discussions prior to November 12.
NewJeans’ Haerin And Hyein Will Continue Activities With ADOR
Minji, Hanni, and Danielle announced their intention to return through a statement sent to the media approximately 2 hours and 40 minutes after ADOR announced the two members’ return. In their statement, the members explained, “One member is currently in Antarctica, so the communication was delayed. ADOR has not responded yet, so we had no choice but to announce our position separately.” Following this statement, the three girls took the heat from netizens, who felt that it was a unilateral decision unapproved by ADOR. Contrary to such, an acquaintance of the three members explained that they had been forced to announce it in the media rather than through ADOR, and that the members had indeed met up with ADOR already.
“While waiting for ADOR’s reply regarding what was conveyed after the meeting on November 11, the return of the other two members was officially announced. To prevent confusion among fans, they urgently conveyed their willingness to return and requested ADOR to make it public, but since they received no response, they were forced to announce it through the media.”
Following the meeting on November 11, ADOR is expected to meet with the members’ side again soon for a more detailed discussion. Minji, Hanni, and Danielle are also said to agree on the need for a meeting with ADOR. However, whether the three members will attend or whether all members will participate still needs to be discussed.
Stay tuned for more on the case!
