NJZ (NewJeans) Hanni Under Fire As Koreans Demand Public Apology For Lying
NJZ (NewJeans) member Hanni has become the center of heated debate in Korea following the most recent court development between ADOR and the group.

A now-viral post on Pann accusing the singer of lying about the events has now gone viral, drawing strong backlash and calls for her to issue a public apology.

Shouldn’t NewJeans’ Hanni issue a public apology?
All of this turned out to be a lie. It’s seriously creepy.

The controversy stems from Hanni’s previous statement describing the alleged incident between her and ILLIT. In her claim, she said a Belift Lab manager told other artists to ignore her, resulting in several members passing by without greeting her.

Korean netizens, however, now insist that Hanni was lying, following the latest court ruling. The verdict blamed Min Hee Jin for the fiasco as the court stated that based on the CCTV “it was difficult to accept that Hanni had experienced hostile behavior.”

Adding to the criticism, her old Instagram post about the same situation has also resurfaced.

I remember everything clearly. I was going to say something in court, but I held it in. How can you take one part of a conversation and shift its meaning to benefit your point of view when I was the one who wrote that message? The renewed debate has quickly become one of the most discussed topics on Pann, surpassing 85,000 views and sparking scathing comments calling the NewJeans star “a perpetrator.”

- “For real, she’s the perpetrator here.”
- “It’s not just about a public apology, she could actually be prosecuted for perjury in the National Assembly. She should be grateful no one’s filed charges yet.”
- “She’s not even human.”
- “Really??? I bet a Korean judge would think he’s the one being harassed.”
- “Isn’t she in her mid-20s? Why is she acting like a high schooler?”
