NMIXX Fans Were Right All Along About Jinni’s MBTI—Here’s What It Is Now

She retook the test.

As fans may know, majority of JYP Entertainment girl group NMIXX are extroverts. Out of seven members, Sullyoon was the only introvert of the group…but not any longer! Jinni recently retook the test at the prodding of fans who couldn’t believe she was extroverted.

In a recent solo vlog, the dancer visited a cafe near the company’s building. She shared tidbits about her life with the members, showed off the contents of her bag, and finally, answered the MBTI test.

Here are three of the many questions that came up and how she responded to them.

1. “At a party or event, I tend to talk to the people I already know rather than talking to new people.”

Jinni’s introversion peeked through with her answer to this question. She revealed that she finds it difficult to approach strangers and would rather converse with people she already knows.

This, I totally agree with because Sullyoon and I tend to be very shy of strangers. I find it difficult to talk to new people first. I feel more comfortable talking to people I already know. I feel more relieved.

2. “I don’t worry about how other people think about me.”

She further explained that she has a hard time befriending new people because she worries about what they’re thinking. But at the very least, she knows that she cares too much about it.

The reason why I find it difficult to talk to new people is because I ask myself these questions, ‘Can I talk to this person?‘ ‘What if they don’t want that?‘ I think so much about it, but the reality is that they don’t really care. It’s just me who thinks that way in most cases.

3. “I like to spend more time with other people than alone.”

On a more extroverted note, Jinni shared that she actually enjoys spending time with other people because she tends to feel lonely when she’s by herself. This information would surprise her members who notice her retreating to her room often.

The members might think that I like to spend time alone because I tend to stay in my room quite a lot. But somehow, I seem to feel lonely quite often. That’s why I like to be with someone. I feel sort of relieved when I’m with someone.

At the end of the test, Jinni finally received her result: INFP! She is slightly more introverted at 53% than extroverted at 47%. Sometimes she gets ISFP, and other times she gets INFP. Previously, she was also ENFP, so the current result isn’t too drastic of a change.
