Some groups take longer than others, especially now that MTV’s THE SHOW has ended, which was known for giving groups from smaller companies a chance to shine. Groups debuting under companies that are not “Big 4” or well-known have a harder time gaining popularity and thus achieving music show wins.

Recently, a male idol’s reaction resonated deeply with netizens.

In 2024, the survival show Make Mate 1 aired, showing the selection process for a new boy group. The winning trainees later debuted as NouerA in February 2025, featuring a seven-member line-up.

NouerA recently came back with “Pop It Like” and have been seen good results, breaking their first week sales record with over 240,000 albums sold. The group have also been nominated for first place on music shows, including the March 18th edition of Show Champion.

Ultimately, P1Harmony took first place on the show, but afterwards, the reaction of Hyunjun, NouerA’s leader was noticed. The idol appeared a bit emotional watching the confetti falling, and seemed to have to compose himself.

The moment went viral with over 4 million views as fans and netizens showed support for the group and hope that they would soon achieve their first win.
