Park Na Rae Addresses Rumors Of Her Resuming Activities
Comedian Park Na Rae‘s side addressed rumors that she’s returning to her activities, following a hiatus due to various controversies.
On the 4th, a representative for Park Na Rae cautiously told OSEN regarding the release of Battle Of Fates, “This program was fully produced in advance and was originally scheduled to be released in the first half of 2026.” They explained that since the release date had already been set, it has nothing to do with Park Na Rae’s return.
On the same day, Disney+ confirmed the release date of the original variety show Battle of Fates as the 11th, simultaneously unveiling the poster and teaser. Battle of Fates is a new survival show where 49 fate readers gather and challenge their destinies through various missions.
Notably, Park Na Rae is currently involved in legal disputes following allegations from her former managers, including abuse of power and illegal medical practices. Due to the fallout from these suspicions, she stepped down from MBC’s I Live Alone, tvN’s Amazing Saturday, and the production of her upcoming new shows were canceled.
However, it was reported that Park Na Rae appears unedited in Battle of Fates, sparking rumors of her comeback. Nevertheless, Park Na Rae’s side clarified that filming took place before the controversy arose and that there are no plans for her broadcast return.
Her side told OSEN, “There are pressing matters that need to be resolved right now, so handling those issues is our top priority before discussing a return.”
Meanwhile, a Disney+ representative stated about Park Na Rae’s participation in Battle of Fates, “Battle of Fates is a survival-type variety show focused on the competitive storytelling of a large cast, and Park Na Rae appears as one of several panelists.“
