Police revealed the identity of Jung Yoo Jung, the woman who murdered another woman she met on a tutoring app.

On June 2, Jung Yoo Jung, a 23-year-old woman, was arrested and formally charged with the murder of a popular online tutor. The two had met on a tutoring app after Jung Yoo Jung approached the victim, asking to meet at her home while pretending to be a parent with a child in High School.

According to reports, the police had revealed the identity of the woman after she had earlier confessed to her crimes during an investigation and revealed her motive for the murder.

Previously, on March 26, Jung Yoo Jung, who was preparing to enter the workforce, murdered the victim in Busan. After the murder, the woman mutilated the victim and stuffed her corpse in a bag, which she discarded in a forest. The taxi driver who took her to the forest alerted police when they became suspicious of the bloody bag.
