Netizens recently expressed concern for former WJSN member Cheng Xiao over a visual transformation.
Cheng Xiao debuted as a member of WJSN in 2016, promoting with the group for years until her official departure in 2023. Since then, she has focused her activities in China, where she is active as an actress and solo artist.
Recently, a post discussing Cheng Xiao’s visuals went viral with several thousand views.
In the post, images of the idol from a July performance were shared, showing her with a slightly swollen-looking face.
She previously explained that her visual change was due to the blood pressure medication she was taking, directly hitting back at the plastic surgery rumors. Hypotension medication can sometimes cause water retention, which is what she was referencing.
Still, the recent images sparked concerns from Korean netizens, as a visual change can indicate more health issues.
