Popular Actress Recounts Horrifying Near-Death Experiences
Actress Jeong Jeong Ha recently shared a chilling tale of her past, where she narrowly escaped death on multiple occasions.
During the most recent episode of MBN‘s talk show Dongchimi the guests started talking about their close brushes with death — and to the shock of many Jeong Ha had plenty to tell. In fact, she revealed how she had suffered from a car accident, a near-plane crash, and even a snake bite.
Jeong explained that nearly 15 years ago, she traveled to the Amazon to film a show about capturing anacondas, an adventure sparked by her curiosity about the region.
Initially, her father was thrilled about her starring role. He joined her and her brother — director and actor Lee Sang Hoon — on the journey to the airport. However, on the way, a series of unfortunate events began.
While driving, Jeong’s father, worried about her safety, sat in the backseat and kept advising her. Distracted by his constant chatter, Jeong lost control of the car, resulting in quite the accident. Despite feeling nauseous and suffering from a headache, she had no time to visit the hospital and proceeded to the airport in their damaged car.
Upon arriving in Peru, their layover destination, Jeong’s condition worsened due to the accident’s aftereffects. As such, the production team decided to cancel their next flight.
Jeong and an assistant director went to the airport to handle the ticket cancellation, only to discover a shocking scene filled with reporters. The assistant director then shockingly revealed to Jeong Ha that the plane they were supposed to board had crashed, killing all passengers.
As if these incidents weren’t enough, within the same week, Jeong experienced another terrifying ordeal in the Amazon.
While filming, she was bitten by a 6-meter-long anaconda, tearing her flesh and exposing her tendons. At the hospital, she encountered less-than-ideal treatment when a nurse touched her wound with hands used for eating potato chips, causing her to pass out from the pain.
When she regained consciousness, she found herself beside a person who had been gored by a rhino, making her snake bite seem minor in comparison.
Jeong’s recounting of these harrowing experiences left the audience and the show’s hosts in disbelief and shock. Her stories have since gone viral, reaching the top of the most-viewed articles on Naver.
