In 2022, nine members of LOONA attempted to have their exclusive contracts suspended following Chuu’s expulsion from the group.

As the members pursued different activities, some moved to other companies with plans to re-debut. Hyunjin and Vivi were the first to join CTDENM, with Yeojin, Gowon, and Hyeju following suit.

On September 15, the same day as the first day of their U.S tour, Loossemble officially debuted.

The group would release another two mini-albums and go on a second U.S tour, their most recent release being TTYL.

However, in November 2024, it was announced that the group’s exclusive contracts with the label had ended.

At the time, it was unclear if the group would be disbanding, however, the members stated that this was not the case. They have remained active on fan chatting platforms, where some recent discussion has left some wondering the group’s ultimate fate.

So far, Loossemble has not signed with another agency, and when asked if there would be chances to see the group soon, Hyunjin shared that she did not know.

Yeojin also made some remarks that brought up some questions. She shared that fans would likely hear good news from her soon, but that she considered herself too old to debut in a new girl group. She did reassure fans she would always be LOONA and Loossemble’s Yeojin as well.
