Popular Male Artist Sparks Major Controversy With Misogynistic Remarks On Dive Studios

He had zero hesitation.

Rapper pH-1 has landed himself in hot water with his unsavory comments about women.

During an episode of Dive Studios‘ Get Real podcast, the rapper discussed his outlook toward dating and women in general. He started by revealing that he never gives out his number because “these girls be crazy nowadays.” As the rest of the room broke into a chuckle, Peniel pointed out that pH-1 believes a man and a woman could never truly be friends.

The rapper explained his outlook, claiming that he believed that “there is always a small bit of chance” between a man and a woman, no matter their dynamic. When the hosts asked if he would say the same for him and Ashley, he said he would. “When I look at a girl…even though she’s my friend…who knows?” the rapper continued, prompting a very baffled Ashley to ask if he really lacked that much self-control.

pH-1 continued his explanation, stating that he saw “male and female as two different types of animals.” He then used the argument that he and Ashley were stranded on a deserted island. Ashley retorted that it was a hypothetical scenario and that it made no sense to project it onto real-life beliefs. The rapper then went on a long spiel about him being an “Alpha” man.

Though the clip dates back to 2025, it recently resurfaced on X (formerly Twitter), sparking massive backlash. Netizens strongly reprimanded pH-1’s remarks, pointing out their multiple problematic aspects.
