On January 5, a new trailer for a short drama series the two idols are starring in was released, with the plot of a baseball pitcher who was struggling and a transfer student who offers to be his manager.

The clip introduced both characters and the turbulent bond that arises.

Yet, the clip has gone viral and has sparked major reactions because netizens believe the actions and narrative in the teaser looks like a BL. In the comments, netizens thought the company was kidding themselves and that all the details and the way Jeno and Jaemin are interacting perfectly resembles a BL, with some joking that the two idols aren’t even acting as anything but themselves.
