Popular Musician Announces Divorce On Social Media After Years Of Marriage

Dynamic Duo‘s Gaeko and influencer Kim Soo Mi have announced their divorce.

On January 16, Gaeko announced the divorce on his Instagram account’s story, stating that they “mutually decided to respect each other’s lives and end our relationship as a married couple” after discussing it for a year. He also emphasized they would be working together to co-parent their children, and asked for understanding.

Kim Soo Mi shared a similar message on her Instagram account as well.

Gaeko has been a member of Dynamic Duo since their 2004 debut, which is Korea’s best-selling hip-hop album. Their track “AEAO” recently re-rose to popularity through TikTok.

Gaeko and Kim Soo Mi married in 2011, while he was completing his military service, and their first son was born that October.

Their second child, a daughter, was born in 2015.
