Popular Rapper Takes A Dig At Korean Celebrities Flaunting “Han River View” Homes
In the Korean entertainment industry, one of the unmistakable signs of success and wealth is probably a home featuring a view of the Han River. While Seoul’s real estate is already very expensive, a “Han River view” is treated as one of the ultimate luxuries a person can afford in the city, with no exception for celebrities. However, according to rapper DinDin, it is an overrated aspect of owning a home in Seoul.

DinDin recently appeared in a video on a YouTube channel named Workman, where he and actor Lee Joon transformed into temporary real estate brokers. The two met with a senior realtor at an agency and received the necessary job training.

In the video, the rapper shared his experience of house hunting, sharing that his first home was an officetel (a multi-purpose studio unit) with a view of the Han River. DinDin recalled living at that place, saying, “I thought I was going to freeze my a*s off. Really.”

He continued the reality check, stating, “Han River views are garbage because in the summer, the river water splashes up and in winter, the river wind blows, making it extremely cold.”

Lee Joon responded in confusion, asking why all celebrities aspired for Han River view homes if they were so bad. DinDin replied, “That’s for filming ‘I Live Alone,’” drawing laughter.
