“Queen Of Tears” To Air Special Episode After The Drama’s Completion

Owing to its soaring popularity, the ongoing K-Drama Queen of Tears will air additional episodes after its final episode.

The network broadcasting the show, tvN, recently shared the news through their social media channels. Originally, the drama was scheduled to air its final episode on April 28, KST, drawing an end to the love story of the main characters Baek Hyun Woo (Kim Soo Hyun) and Hong Hae In (Kim Ji Won). But, according to the new plans, viewers will get to see a two-part special episode afterward, which will be aired on May 4 and May 5, KST.

Though tvN has not divulged much into details about these special episodes, they have shared that the main cast members, Kim Ji Won, Kim Soo Hyun, Park Sung Hoon, Kwak Dong Yeon¸ and Lee Joo Bin will be appearing in them. The channel also asked fans to leave silly comments and questions through the tvN Instagram account for the actors to read out loud during the episode.

Meanwhile, Queen of Tears has constantly recorded remarkable viewership ratings since its premiere on March 9, KST. The 10^th episode aired on April 7, KST, achieved a viewership rating of 19.0%. With its soaring popularity, the show has become one of the best-rated weekend dramas on tvN, closely following the internationally acclaimed Crash Landing On You.

With the incredible chemistry of the leads, a stellar cast, and an intense storyline, fans are now eager to see if the drama will be able to surpass its legendary predecessors and make history.
