Red Velvet And Super Junior K.R.Y Chosen As Ambassadors For “2020 K-Culture Festival”

Say hello to the global Hallyu ambassadors!

Super Junior K.R.Y (Kyuhyun, Ryeowook, and Yesung) and Red Velvet are taking on the role of global Hallyu ambassadors for this year’s Korean Culture Festival, also known as the K-Culture Festival.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism recently announced that it will be holding the 2020 K-Culture Festival with the Korean Foundation for International Cultural Exchange beginning next month. The festival will be held online this year to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Being the first of its kind this year, the event is designed to expand the interest of the Hallyu wave all around the world. As the ambassadors for the event, Red Velvet and Super Junior K.R.Y will be participating in the promotion of the event, various marketing activities, and performances.

Centering around everything from K-Pop and K-Drama to K-Beauty and K-Fashion, the event will also feature an introduction to local foods and popular destinations in different places like Incheon, Mokpo, and Andong.

The 2020 K-Culture Festival will be kicking off on October 10 and running through November 29 with various activities planned throughout the entire event. Check out the promotional teaser for the event below:
