Koreans React To Rihanna’s Controversial Naughty Nun Photoshoot
Recently, Rihanna has received backlash on social media for a controversial photoshoot for the spring 2024 issue of Interview Magazine.
The photoshoot depicts her dressed in a nun’s headwear, a veil and wimple. She wears an open dress shirt exposing cleavage, bold and colorful makeup, and a dramatic facial expression.
In a behind-the-scenes video, she clutches her breast and poses for the camera.
The photoshoot has gone viral on Korean forum theqoo (with almost 100,000 views at the time of writing) where Korean netizens flooded the comments with criticism. Not only do they feel it mocks Christianity, many comments also state that the sexual objectification of nuns and other professions is problematic.
