Japanese British Singer Rina Sawayama Proves She’s A NewJeans Stan
BTS‘s RM isn’t the only HYBE artist that Japanese British singer Rina Sawayama has a connection to. She recently surprised fans by proving she’s a fan of the popular rookie group NewJeans.
At the Paris, France stop of Rina Sawayama’s Hold the Girl tour, the singer added a few new dance moves to her “XS” performance. It was the choreography for NewJeans’ song “OMG”.
Rina Sawayama charismatically nailed the “OMG” dance moves, earning the attention of the group’s fans. It wasn’t the only time the singer proved to be a NewJeans fan, either.
When Rina Sawayama was previously asked about the song living “rent-free in her mind,” she immediately chose “OMG” and mentioned how hard it was to learn the choreography.

Rina Sawayama’s hard work was worth it because she pulled off the “OMG” moves perfectly and gave fans a welcome surprise.
