Rookie Group Adds A New Member With No Prior Announcement

A fifth-generation idol group recently introduced a new member with possibly the most nonchalant notification for fans.

The group in question is LUN8, a boy group under Fantagio.

On February 6, KST, the company simply informed fans that they are adding a new member, Yuma, to the seven-member lineup of LUN8 with a brief statement.

Hello, this is Fantagio.

First of all, we would like to thank the fans who always show a lot of interest and love for LUN8.

Starting from the LUN8 SHOW[K]ASE TOUR EUROPE, which is scheduled in April, a new member, Yuma, who participated in MBC’s ‘Boy Fantasy’ will join the group and participate in their official activities.

We will continue to provide our full support for LUN8 so that they can remain active. Please give your warm encouragement and attention to the current LUN8 members and Yuma.

While fans have extended a warm welcome to Yuma, netizens couldn’t help getting dumbfounded at the way Fantagio casually added a new member to the group’s lineup over one year after their debut.
